Dave research
doing this powerpoint presentation, it has really helped me when going away and actually making the ident. as i have learnt about there target audience and all of the conventions which i would need to include in my ident.
when completing this powerpoint i got see the result of uktvg2 being rebranded, which gave me ideas of what i needed to include in this ident to make sure it fits in with there target audience.

Push a little button video was inspired by the advert which was advertising TV Licensing.
we got set the task to re create this advert using different buttons which were around the room, firstly we listed all the buttons in which we could find and then got the still camera out, and video all of the buttons being pressed. after this we uploaded these video's clips to the i-mac's. once we uploaded these to i-movie and Begin to edit the theme, so the video and music were both in time.
what went well: the first clip which the film contains is Alice pressing the button on the camera, when watching this you can see that the press is in time with the bell in the song. Later on in the film a clip of a calculator and the buttons are pressed three times which also makes the music and video clip link together this meant that we had met the crytearia of the task and make the movie and sound link together well. when coming to edit this we all chiped in and took turns in editting the clip size and also making sure it was on the beat of the soundtrack which we had to use, as this linked to the task which was set for us.
even better if: we could improve our work by, setting the mic on the computer up where there was no-one eles, when listening back to our film you can hear other groups recording, this was because they were typical boys which ment they had to be twice as loud as everyone eles in the room.
we also could of got better camera angles and better foces on the camera when taken the shots, as some of these were very ticky to capture, we could of also extented outside of the classroom and got different types of buttons to use.
overall i personally think that the push the button film was a success as we met the crytearia and had the music and film in time with each other.

28th September 2010:
Stop Animation:
What Went Well: the things in which went well were; we all worked as a team, we took turns in taking the pictures, and also all had a say in what we thought would benefit the stop animation film in which we were making. we also all took part in the editing process, on windows movie maker. the camera remind still as we used a tripod to make sure our shots always looked the same. this meant that the animation would look rather professional.
Even Better If: the things in which we could of improved one would of been; the whole planning process. we should have planned out our ideas a little better, and not jumped straight into the animation. Also we should had spent a little more time edit ting the music around the animation. It would of looked much better if we had a better background due to the room which we were in we had have a plain grey background, due to this the lighting let us down a little.
