when making our live type titles we needed a font which would fit with the name of the new television channel "the grid" this meant that we needed to find a font which was in a grid like fashion. After looking through the different websites we came across a website called da font (http://www.dafont.com/) we downloaded this font to a imac where we saved and installed this font so we would be able too use it in our live type type.
however when we went back to link our ident and the live type together it wasn't able to work, this meant that we had to go back and find the name of the font and re download and install it.
this is were it showed us that we needed to make sure that all of these fonts and all of our work should all be on one computer.
